I’m Megan and I write feature screenplays.
My brand is Ruin to Radiance. My characters fight to discover joy after devastation.
Two of my short plays were performed at Red Eye Theater events at the Barrow-Civic Theater.
My background blends craft and experience. I hold a Master’s in Applied Linguistics, giving me a forensic understanding of how language moves us. I have traveled to over seventeen countries, listening to the human heart beat through many voices.
My fieldwork documenting the voices of Mennonite women in Pennsylvania is published in a peer-reviewed journal and archived with the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History.
My real life has a Hollywood twist: I exchanged my home to travel overseas just like lead in the romantic comedy THE HOLIDAY. My husband and I met on day three of my Italian adventure, and we have been together ever since.
