I’m Megan and I’m a writer.

My brand is Ruin to Radiance. My characters fight to discover joy after devastation.

Two of my short plays were performed at Red Eye Theater events at the Barrow-Civic Theater.

My background blends craft and experience. I hold a Master’s in Applied Linguistics, giving me a forensic understanding of how language moves us. I have traveled to over seventeen countries, listening to the human heart beat through many voices.

My fieldwork documenting the voices of Mennonite women in Pennsylvania is published in a peer-reviewed journal and archived with the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History.

My real life has a Hollywood twist: I exchanged my home to travel overseas just like the lead in the romantic comedy THE HOLIDAY. My husband and I met on day three of my Italian adventure, and we have been together ever since.
